Description
Section 96(2) - Various design amendments to the approved bar on Level 6, including: (1) Replacement of three sections of fixed windows on the facade fronting Darlinghurst Road with new operable sliding door systems and glass safety balustrades. The sliding doors will be acoustically sealed when closed; (2) Relocation and reconfiguration of the recessed balcony to the south-west of the existing approved balcony. The new balcony will be approximately 33m. The number of patrons on the balcony will remain according to Condition 8 of consent D/2006/1013 (maximum 22 persons at any one time); (3) Construction of an acoustic air lock to the south-eastern end of the recessed balcony; (4) Minor internal reconfiguration of service bars, kitchen, storerooms and cool room; (5) Provision of an additional service bar, wine room and DJ booth; and (6) Revised layout and provision of additional toilets (4 male and 6 female now proposed which equates to 2 additional male toilets). The site is located on the corner of Darlinghurst Road and Kings Cross Road.
