Temporary use of church (St Francis de Sales) as an administrative office for World Youth Day 2008 for a maximum of 75 workers. Proposed hours are between 8.00am and 6.00pm Mondays to Fridays for a period of two years, with the exception of the three week period between 7 July 2008 and 27 July 2008 (around World Youth Day), when the office will operate seven days a week between 8.00am and 6.00pm. Internal works include office fitout, removal and storage of church fittings and liturgical furniture, demolition of timber platforms, installation of new services, and construction of a new kitchenette and male and female toilets. The temporary office will be demolished before the end of the two year period and the church fittings and liturgical furniture reinstated.
